MediMemory Lite 2.1 coming soon

The new MediMemory Lite release 2.1 is currently awaiting Apple approval. Although it was submitted at the same time as the new release of MediMemory (which has already been approved for sale), it seems to have been forgotten somewhere in the deepest darkest realms of the Apple approval process.

We hope the process will be completed shortly. In the meantime, thank you all for your patience.

MediMemory Connect Version 1.1 Available on the App Store

The new 1.1 release has been approved and is now available for free download / update on the App Store. This release includes all the new features of MediMemory 2.1, with the addition of a Demo Mode.

Now potential customers have the opportunity to test out Connect before applying for an account. Happy testing!

Issues with upgrading to MediMemory 2.1?

We have seen that one customer has written a negative review of MediMemory after a failed attempt to upgrade to version 2.1.

A large percentage of our customers have already upgraded, and we have not received a single support email indicating any issues with the new release. We would like to stress that every new MediMemory release undergoes extensive testing, including upgrade tests, and no new version of MediMemory is publicly released until all testing completes successfully. Additionally, after reading the review, we have performed additional upgrade testing, and have not identified any problems.

We are aware that (sadly) developers of competing products may sometimes provide negative feedback in the hopes of influencing application sales. Therefore, before writing negative feedback, we kindly ask customers to contact us directly in the event that they have any application problems. This enables us to not only provide help, but also to filter out fictitious problems, and to improve our product for the benefit of all our customers when real problems are identified.

To the customer that encountered the upgrade problem, we apologise to you for the inconvenience, and urge you to contact us with details of the issue that you encountered.

As general advice, before installing any updates (not only for MediMemory), we would always advise that customers back up their device via iTunes or as a minimum take a note of any important application data. If, for any reason, any application update fails, you can delete the application from your device and reinstall it via the App Store for free (as long as you logon to the App Store using the same account that you used when you originally purchased the application).

We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support, and please keep sending us your suggestions for the features that you would like to see included in a future release.

Kind regards
MediMemory Support

Our latest product, MediMemory Connect, was released today in Switzerland.

Based upon the full version of MediMemory, it extends the capabilities by enabling Swiss users to order their medications directly from our mail order medication partner, Zur Rose AG. This partnership also allows us to offer you MediMemory Connect as a free download.

If you would like to find out more, or to open your MediMemory Connect account, please contact the Zur Rose MediMemory Hotline on 0842 842 842 (07:30 to 17:00, Mo. to Fr.). Please note that participants must be resident in Switzerland, and hold a valid repeat prescription for their medications.

MediMemory Lite Version 1.1 Available on the App Store

The new 1.1 release has been approved (finally) and is now available for purchase / free update on the App Store. It seems that the iPhone OS 3.0 release caused quite some work for Apple, and resulted in a delay approving applications.

Note that this update is compatible with iPhones & iPods using either OS 2.2.1 or 3.0 software. This allows all users who are not able to upgrade to the 3.0 software to still get access to all the latest features.

MediMemory Version 1.2 Available on the App Store

The new 1.2 release has been approved and is now available for purchase / free update on the App Store.

Note that this update is compatible with iPhones & iPods using either OS 2.2.1 or 3.0 software. This allows all users who are not able to upgrade to the 3.0 software to still get access to all the latest features.

MediMemory Lite Version 1.1 Released

MediMemory Lite version 1.1 has been released as a free update, and should be available on the App Store shortly (although Apple are pretty busy right now with WWDC, so the wait may be longer than usual).

As well as adding new features to MediMemory Lite, we are also reducing the price. This is because the difference between the Lite and Full versions is getting larger (MediMemory Full version has gained a great deal of new functions in the latest release). Rather than increase the price of MediMemory Full, we decided to decrease the price of MediMemory Lite instead.

MediMemory Lite Now Available

MediMemory Lite has been approved, and is now available on the App Store.

The key difference between the Lite and Full versions is stock management - the Lite version is aimed at those people who do not have so many medications to manage, but would still like to track how much medication to take and when. Therefore, Lite removes all stock level tracking, including low stock warnings and shopping lists. Lite also removes a few of the more advanced tools.

However, Lite retains all the standard MediMemory functionality, such as the Daily Planner, medication history, fully flexible scheduling, and all the other features that have produced such a positive feedback from our customers.

Take a look at the MediMemory Lite product page for more details.
